Myself and my picture profile

Selamat datang! Welcome to my blog!

I began my blog by using the picture of the sunrise on the horizon of Mount Bromo. We had a trip to Bromo few years ago which brought us to hike Bromo in the early morning to watch the sunrise from the top. You get the feeling of cloud covering the whole area to promise to the arrival of new day for all pilgrimages to the area. I have used the image for almost a year. Now I decide changing the picture profile and its settings.

I call “the breast of mother earth” to this profile picture of my blog. I was at Pondok Jati Rasa with my family when the natural phenomena appeared as the sunset in December 30, 2011. It was for the first time in my life after many years watching spectacular sunset on the horizon of the Indonesian ocean which lies before our home on the cliff of Alas Wegode in Parangtritis.

We were closing the year and I wondered what meaning the nature wanted to tell me when I captured the phenomena. I was writing my reflection for the close of the year that I posted in this blog which titled “Menarasikan Tindakan 2011”. I knew the nature wants to let us know that it will take care of us even we will have lots of suffering, disaster etc. God is always with us. Like a mother nurtures her children, God always care for human beings as God’s creation.

Later in February 6th 2012, my brother died. We have mourned deeply for the loss. My husband shared his heart to be published at "www.thejakartapost.com/.../how-do-people-di..."

What did we learn was God has a plan for everybody including him. God did the best for him. After the Easter this year, God has returned our joy and hope to share our life with others as my brother has done in his life.

We are going to continue our life hoping for a better understanding and sharing resources we have to make for a just, equal and peaceful world to live…even in the state of political turmoil we have face in this world, especially in Indonesia. I believe that the sign given by God to me is to share with others to let Indonesian and all nations to know that God loves us and does not want us to destroy each others. May peace of God be with all of us.
